 Post subject: Caring for cyclamen

Received a cyclamen & know nothing about how to care for it ! Can anyone help? I have it inside as a houseplant where it gets diffused light. Does it require more water than the average houseplant & does it go dormant, eventually & all you have left is a bulb, or whatever until later when it blooms :?:
