We planted 6 small cedars (low growing) in different beds on each side of our front walk. (3 in each bed) Now that they have started to grow we can tell that they are different species. One has turned a bluish gray color and the ones in the other bed are bright green. We planted them close together to give the effect of one. Can we dig them up and try to match those that are left without losing them? Since the beds are the same size and on each side of our entrance to our house they should be the same. In fact the ones that are bluish are much lower growing than the others. We bought them at different times and thought they were the same. Any advice will be appreciated.

Sorry - have no idea why the different colors unless you got different varieties. This is a good time to move them unless the soil is sopping wet or frozen.
Thanks for replying. Sorry I wasn't clear. I know they are different species. I just needed to know if because there were three planted close together if we could move them without losing them.
