Down at my farm I have roosters and hens, too - and yes, I admit at first I was shocked at their, ah, let's say, enthusiasm. If you can cull out some roosters or add hens, to say spread around the love a bit more, your hens will look better and the roosters will appreciate the extras in the harem.
I currently have more roosters than I should, but can't bear to part with any so I just keep allowing the hens to nest and increase the number of hens from hatching.
