Location: Zephyr,TEXAS
Well, here goes. I am not sure I am doing this right. I am just outside Zephyr, TX. in Mills Co. We have a rather small garden and last year it did really well. Would love to know if there are places to get "Free Compost" close by. We have compost bins, but it isn't ready yet. Thanks for reading this. :D

For kicks, I entered "Zephy TX" at whitepages.com and entered "Horse" in the category.... got like 100 results.

Call a few barns, you'll find folks willing to let go of some poop or happy to let you muck and bag a couple stalls of nice urine soaked, ammonia stankin bedding. Not fun but great compost starter.

If there's a high school in your town that has a FFA program at the school,you'll be sitting on a gold mine for manure and helping the kids out to,just ask!
