Howard:
Were you aware that the City of Ardmore (OK) was producing compost at its waste treatment facility? They combine dewatered sludge with organic material from the street and park departments' activities and make beautiful compost that passes all state and federal requirements: "Okie Dirt". The facility has won a national award. I have some insight to this process and plan to write an article to submit for consideration in "The Dirt".
Best regards,

Before you write your article, do some research with the Texas Disposal Systems Company. I believe they are headquartered in Austin but I might be mistaken. They own Garden-Ville who has the municipal compost contracts with the cities of Austin (Dillo-Dirt) and San Antonio (Alamo-Gro).
