I'm looking for some type of evergreen/flowering shrub (I know I might not be able to have both!) for two large concrete pots that will be mostly in shade. They are too large to move so whatever I plant needs to be cold and heat hardy. The property is in Central Texas 30 miles north-ish of College Station and the pots are on the northwest side of the house.

Suggestions?

Karen

I like Texas Mountain Laurel. Sweet smelling and beautiful purple flowers and evergreen foliage.
