Do You Have a Fascination with Hummingbirds?
Do you like hummingbirds? You are not alone!
Here is a link to a web site about a great place to visit. It is near San Angelo, Texas.
http://www.hummerhouse.com/ They have cottages surrounded by a whole bunch of nature!
While I am at it, I must tell you about a hummingbird feeder which I recently discovered: the HummZinger. It has an ant moat to keep ants from getting to the nectar! HOORAY!

There is also a great one made by Audubon. It, too, has an ant moat!
Please do not use red food coloring in their food!
Please do not use honey or "Sugar in the Raw"
Please clean feeders each time you refill them (every third day in the heat of the summer) with pipe cleaners and distilled vinegar, then rinse with water.
From what I understand, to wash feeders with detergents may be harmful to these little jewels, probably because it is difficult to rinse thoroughly, even if you waste 3 gallons of water (heaven forbid) in doing so!
