I recently purchased a home and want to incorporate edible plants into my landscaping. I know little about organic gardening/landscaping. Does anyone have advice or know a good resource that would deal specifically with edible landscaping?

Here in Alabama, I love to plant various colorful radishes, mustard greens, cabagges, and kale during the cold months around flower beds. Then I like to plant various companion planting combinations of tomatoes, cucumbers, squashees, and sunflowers during the warm season months around the house and in flower beds for decoration.

My favorites around here are rosemary, thyme, garlic, chives and oregano. All are easy to maintain, spread on their own and usable in various ways.
