Even though I've gone organic, I still listen to the Randy Lemmon show on the radio. I've planted an Improved Meyer Lemon tree and a Satsuma tree this spring and both have small fruits. One weekend recently, Randy mentioned that here in south Texas we should remove the small fruits before they ripen during the first year. I can't find any information on this but I hate to do it! Does anyone know if this is necessary?
