Does anyone know about a fuzzy slug? There is no shell. I found one this morning stuck on one of my tools. Is it a nonbeneficial slug like the other slugs are?

I subsequently took it to Calloway's who identified it as a caterpillar and not a slug. They were not entomologists, so no ID any further. I am going to keep it and raise it to see if it becomes a moth or a butterfly! He really is cute.
