I know this may be a dumb question to some, but I need help. We just had heavy rain and a lot of my plants suffered a little from sitting in "ponds" of rain. In order to build up these areas, do I need to dig up my plants to a mound of sorts and replant them or just put soil and compost around the individual plants? Thanks!

How many plants are we talking about here and about how many inches of organic material are you want to add?

I have several plants, I have butterfly bushes, the blue and white ones, along he house, and about 5 individual other plants, including about 3 young plumerias spread throughout my yard.
