I NEED HELP! COMMERCIAL GARRETT JUICE HAS DIFFERENT MIXING INSTRUCTIONS THAN THE ONE ON THE SITE. THIS IS CONFUSING WHEN MAKING MY OWN CONCENTRATED VERSION. DO I DILUTE COMMERCIAL COMPOST TEA, IS THE MOLASSES IN THE FEED STORES THE SAME AS BLACKSTRAP IN GROCERY STORES, DO I USE 5% VINEGAR, CAN 10% VINEGAR BE USED BY CUTTING IN HALF? ANY INFO WOULD HELP.
Garrett Juice (ready to spray)
My recommended basic organic foliar spray is available commercially. Or you can make your own. Mix the following ingredients in a gallon of water.
1 cup manure based compost tea
1 ounce molasses
1 ounce natural apple cider vinegar
1 ounce liquid seaweed
For disease and insect control add:
¼ cup garlic tea or
¼ cup garlic/pepper tea
or 1 ounce of orange oil
Notes:
1) Ready to spray
2) Molasses - the molasses bought from feed stores should suffice. It is typically less expensive buying molasses by the gallon at feed/organic gardening stores.
3) natural apple cider vinegar not flavored. I personally use the Bragg raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar. It is 5%. I have not seen 10% apple cider vinegar.
Also just some 'net etiquette...you might consider not typing in all caps. This is the equivalent of shouting/yelling.
