I would like to know what to do for my potted geraniums that continually turn brown. I've started spraying them with Garrett's juice to feed them and with orange oil to rid them of any pests. They have some small new growth near the bottom of the stems, but the growth never seems to amount to much. They were so pretty this spring, and now they really look like first class rejects - hardly any foliage, and not blooming.
Can you apply dry molasses to potted plants, and if so what is the recommended amount for what size pots?
My geranium was looking pretty sickly, so I simply moved it to a location where it gets less direct sun. I also cut it back a bit. Now it looks great and is blooming again.
