I called a nursery and they told me they heard on the Dirt Doctor website to use flour to elminate grasshoppers.........Any truth to this? This is my first vegetable garden, and my veggies are growing beautifully, but I live in North Texas, in the country and the grasshoppers have taken out my Russian Mammoth sunflowers, and I am worried about my vegetable garden. I have only seen ONE grasshopper, but where there's one, there are more. I have muscovy ducks and they are going NO WHERE near the garden. Maybe because of the scarecrow I have in my garden. So.............can someone tell me if flower works?

Thanks,
AMPURDY IN NORTH TEXAS
