Post subject: Green Burial --- The Ultimate in Composting!

There was an article on this subject in the Dallas Morning News on 27 December 2007. Sarah Skidmore of the Associated Press wrote the article.
This interesting story mentions that "green" funeral services are available in the following states thus far:
Texas, California, New York, Florida, and South Carolina.
One of the containers for burial, made by EcoPod, is made of recycled newspaper. There is a company located in Portland Oregon, Natural Burial Co., which will carry this and other eco-friendly burial products. Interesting, there is no mention of Oregon as being one of the states offering natural burial.
I hope this will catch on. Then local companies can begin manufacturing such goods. What good does it do when it requires burning fossil fuels to get the product to your location?
