I have an area around my drive way( the old two concrete rows running to the garage) that used to have grass, but is now basically sand. It is partial sun and shade. My soil is usually white rock. So I need a fast growning ground cover to hold the dirt back in the above conditions. When it rains the garage door has to be dug out to open from all the dirt that flows down along with the garage flooding.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.
