That's pretty good size there for a grub, but as soon as I can figure out how to transfer my digital camera on to my computer I'll show yall the grubs I dug uup last year,2009.There was 4 of them,2 were over 10 inches long and molting?,they were a shade of purple towards their backside, the other one was about 7 inches long and I chopped the other one in half, opps! They were also wide about 3 fingers wide, with the pinchers(mouth area) looking pretty scarey,a friend said he would give me $10 for them all,so he could go fishing, but I couldn't sell them.

At the risk of sounding stupid, are grub worms good to have in your garden? Moles are destroying our yard and flower beds and I was told they are after grubs.

If I find a grub like that I might run off screaming and then trip over my cart while trying to get away. Sound like a B scifi movie - "land of the grub" What kind of grub is it?
