Has anyone have used this product? It made of Orange peel oil and hydrogen peroxide. I use it for green cleaning purposes and when it breaks down it turns back to water.
"Reduced" aquatic toxicity tells me that it is still toxic. Just not as toxic. Same with human toxicity. "Improved biodegradability" tells me that it isn't really biodegradable, or it would simply say "biodegradable."
"Plant derived" can be anything. There are many plant derived products that are bad for you, this could be one.
The site I looked at I won't link to, but it called itself EnviroOx and had several products. Their claims and evidence are slim, so I would think twice about adopting it at this point.
You should have searched through the forum to find a better place to post this question, more readers would have noticed and responded. I would recommend the heading "Natural Organic Living" and then the "Home Care Forum."
There are a number of organic cleaners out there. I'd look for one with ingredients that are found on the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) “Generally Recognized as Safe” (GRAS) List. Therefore, no warning label is required to be placed on them by any Federal, State or Municipal agency. Don't settle for "reduced" toxicity.
