I live in the Dallas, Tx area and my next door neighbor and I are experiencing sudden death of the trees and bushes along one side of our houses. So far I have lost a pear tree, a maple tree, a Rose of Sharon bush and an elm tree. The three trees died over the winter and then the bush suddenly went from beautiful to dead in a matter of a few days. Now my Chinese Pistache tree that was healthy last week is suddenly loosing all its leaves. I have never used anything put organic products in my yard. There is a problem with water flow from up hill neighbors draining between our 2 houses, but the trees are not right on the line where the water drains. Any help would be appreciated as I am afraid all of my beautiful trees are going to die!

I've read that elsewhere in other forums. Seems to be a DFW phenom. In one forum it was attributed to the harsh weather last winter. Do you think that could be it?

We were in a drought going into last winter, then hit with 2 weeks of single digit temps, then shot into a very warm April followed by a May back into the 40's..then 100 degree summer temps. I see damage like this everyday at the nursery where I work. People are complaining about dying shrubs and we believe it's because of these severe situations that the root system just could not handle.
