Obviously, I live in Waxahachie. We bought our home in June 2008. I've started with an organic program on both the ornamental and vegetable gardens. I'm doing my best plant Texas Natives and adapted perennials.

So far it's been an adventure. The good: all the voluntary natives springing up after clearing out the introduced pests. The bad: fifty or so years of over grown Nandina (root clusters the size of footballs). But, a hard day's work pays off dividends whether I'm planting or pulling.

I'm looking forward to all the help from such a cool forum.

Thanks
Jeff
