Last Sunday, the 9th, I saw a hummingbird in e tree outside my window. It is near where I usually hang the feeder, but the feeder was not there.
I quickly made up some nectar and put it out. I made it a little stronger than the usual 1 part sugar to 4 parts water so I could cool it fast with an ice cube. This must have been a scout. I hope he comes back.
Anyone else seen hummingbirds this year?

No hummingbirds yet but the swallowtail butterflies are arriving in our area from South America now. There were a ton of them on my citrus and butterfly bushes this week.
