Need help. Just moved an endless summer hydrangea from a spot getting too much afternoon sun to a more shady one. This was done on Saturday and the plant is now completely drooping to the ground. Should the blooms be cut off because of weight?

No one helping yet?

I'm just supposing that hydrangeas are similar to other plants I've transplanted, & that they are unable to support all their top growth when their roots have been disturbed or cut.

So I would cut off the flower heads & keep my fingers crossed.

Best luck.
