Just saying hello as a new member of this great forum.

Am living half in Florida (Seagrove Beach), half in Alabama (Marion Junction, between Selma and Demopolis). The Alabama part is more exciting right now as we're starting a small organic farm there. Plan is eventually to be very diverse, with some of everything (permaculture as best we can manage it) -- chickens, goats, pigs, cows, rabbits, veggies, orchard, herbs, bees, and at least one hoop house, maybe two.

Want to start a CSA but not ready for that just yet, so will be selling herbs and salad and cooking greens to stores and restaurants and the only year-round farmer's market we know of nearby.

So glad to find this resource, looks like there are a lot of talented, dedicated and experienced organic growers here. Howdy!

It's hard not to become a rabid organic evangelist when you see how wonderful it is. I am still trying to learn to keep my mouth shut! Always great to find a community of likeminded follks to share the enthusiasm.
