Potato and garlic production from the office garden. The Ruth Stout method of laying the potatoes on the top of the ground and covering with thick mulch was not as successful as putting the seed potatoes just under the surface of the soil. Use whole potatoes instead of cut-up pieces was successful and I strongly recommend. Garlic was outstanding.
