I bought a New Zealand Tea Tree this weekend (with pink flowers) and am wondering if anyone has any experience with these or can give me any info. on them. I've looked in my books and cannot find much. The little card that came with it says it grows 8-10 ft tall. I found some info on an Australian Tea Tree, but it grows around 25 ft tall, I think. Is the New Zealand a dwarf form? It has an abundance of very pretty small pink flowers, there was also a white flowering version. The one I have is about 2 feet tall right now. Thanks.

THe only thing I have read about tea tree plants is that they can be invasive in some areas, but I don't know how well they do in our particular climate and soil conditions. Have you tried doing a google search on the climate and soil requirements for your particular variety?
