There are several of these little red things in my yard. I'm wondering what they are? When I pull one up, it is attached to what looks vaguely like an almond coming vertically off the stem. My neighbor has a small peach orchard, so I'm wondering if these are peach saplings, but nothing on the internet looks like this when I search peaches.
