I have to give a huge hand to Mr. Garrett..I saw his segment on using compost tea to soak caladium corms before planting them, and decided I would try that...I have one flower border that has soil so lousy that the only thing that would grow there was lemon balm and caladiums - but the earthworms seem to like it...Any way, this year, I soaked my "economy" caladium corms (read - the cheapest ones) in water that I had put in about 2 cups of compost in and let it soak over night, and I soaked the corms for an hour before planting.
Those cheap caladiums have grown into MONSTROUS huge beautiful plants - each little corm must have put out at least 7-10 stems...and months after coming up, they are still putting up leaves.
I am going to listen to Mr. Garrett more often...

Thanks much for the report. You are a very important part of educating the world on how well the Natural Way works. We're moving the right direction but still have a lot of work to do.
