I have a beautiful well-established lantana (the old fashioned pink & yellow that stands about 3 ft. tall). It is a baby of a lantana that I had at a previous house. That lantana was probably 20 years old.

I want to send (by mail) a piece of this (root and pruned plant) to my children who live about 40 miles South of Nashville TN.

When is the best time to do this?
