I've shucked all my old methods and gone to Texas Tee, a granular organic product. http://www.fertilegarden.com/ViewProduc ... roupID=158

Something I've always wondered - when one mows, does the mower suck up the granules? I know it sounds silly, but seems a legitimate question.

if it needs mowing, I would mow first then put it down then water it in.

Can I assume you bag your clippings? If you stop bagging, then the problem goes away.
