I still, as of 12/26,have about a dozen or more leaves still on my silver maple tree,they are brown-to-yellow in color,but their still on the tree.I've been keeping a diary for several years now about my lawn and trees and this year,2011,the leaves stayed on my trees the longest.

The weather plays a big part too, not just the variety of the tree.
