i have a lemon bush that has been in the ground for about 3 years. I've been wanting to move it but didn't know when. Now it has taken a big hit from the freeze in san antonio and only 1/2 is still green. Is it worth moving and if so when?

I have half a lemon plant, too. I think there is no chance of the plant flowering this year so...now that you mention it, now might be as good a time as any to replant a half frozen citrus.

Mine is in a long planter about 5 feet deep and has had significant settling due to the large quantities of organic materials we put in it.

Be sure you keep the root flare exposed when you replant it.
