 Post subject: Live Oak Growths?

Location: Argyle,TEXAS
We have tehse growths on our live oak and I am not sure what it is. Does anyone have any idea? Is this a disease? The tree has plenty of nuts on it. I have attached a picture. Thanks in advance for the help.

They are galls.
