I planted 6 loblolly pines last March and they appeared healthy until the last couple weeks, when I spotted yellow oozey stuff around the bottom of the trunks. The most badly-affected tree's needles have turned brown. Any ideas how to treat? I live in the Lost Pines region of Texas, near Bastrop. I've got pictures of the problem if I can post them....[/url]

Make sure they are not too deep in the ground and apply the Sick Tree Treatment. Also - do send photos so we can see if there are any other issues.
