Can anyone tell me what is making and or living in these holes. (my picture will not upload) They extend the entire width of my house (backyard) just under the eves. They are almost as big as a dime.

Should I be concerned? I have not seen anything enter or leave the holes. They appeared two days ago.

I would assume June beetles emerging from the ground..but it may be a tad early.

Another possibility is squirrels digging up acorns they buried earlier.
