 Post subject: moving hollies and crepe myrtles

I have three crepe myrtles, apprx. 8 to 9 years old, and several buford, i think, hollies i wish to move. When is the best time and how much/big of the root ball should iI take. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You will need 10 to 12" of root ball for each 1" of trunk diameter. You could probably move them now.
