NPSOT Dallas Chapter: Group aims to educate the community about native plants. Meetings include a plant exchange. They are held at 7 p.m. the third Thursday of each month, except December, at Walnut Hill Recreation Center, 11001 Midway Road.

NPSOT Trinity Forks Chapter (Denton) Dates: The fourth Thursday of: January -- May, and August -- October.Time: 6:30 for socialization and viewing of educational displays, 7:00 p.m. for start of meeting. Place: The Administration and Clock Tower (ACT) building on Administration Drive at the Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. Room 301. Park in the visitors parking area, on the road in front of the building (in designated parking spots), or in the parking lot on the west side of Oakland Street, just north of the Human Resources building.

NPSOT Garland Chapter: Organization was established in 1998 to help preserve the blackland prairie by planting Texas natives in their own gardens. Meetings are held at 3 p.m. on the third Sunday every other month January through November. Location of meeting is at Rohde's Nursery & Nature Store, 1651 Wall St., Garland.

NPSOT, Collin County Chapter: Organization focuses on learning about Texas natives, water-wise plants or garden plants. Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at the Heard Natural Science Museum, One Nature Place, McKinney.
