I mowed my lawn down to 2.5 inches (took off about 3/4 of an inch) for the first time after winter. I pulled weeds as I went along and fed them to the mower as I bagged the clippings. I threw the clippings in the compost bin but it was mostly brown dead grass. I don't have any greens to throw in to get it going. Can I water the pile w/ a little molasses and feed grade urea to get it going? Has anyone ever tried this?

Molasses is good. Urea is not so good. Urine is much better than urea simply because it is not the sterile chemical that urea is. Urine is highly complex compound while urea is not. Complex is better around compost.

Well 1/6 pound of urea and 1/4 cup of molasses per cubic yard and a whole lota water got the brown dead grass and tree leaves to 145 F overnight. When I measured the temp this morning it did have a hint of an ammonia smell so I could have probably used half as much feed grade urea.

Epi 1:1,000 is usually given subcutaneously for anaphylaxis or asthma that doesn't respond to other treatments. Epi 1:10,000 is given I.V., I.O., or E.T. for anaphylaxis and various cardiac/perfusion emergencies. Never used Epi 1:100,000 but it is probably used for local vasoconstriction to enhance the effects of local anesthetic or some similar purpose.
