I haven't seen that one but Plano TX loans out a manual spreader for small yards. You open the door on a barrel device, fill it with compost and roll it across the yard. The compost drops out thru the holes in the barrel.

The problem with that one is the compost is never screened small enough to fall through the holes. It clogs right up.

David,
I know this is an old thread, but did you ever find out more info on this ?
How much, and will it handle compost, lava/green sand etc. all at once ?
What if particles are somewhat large, as in green sand ?
Will it still work ?

This would work for me. I have a Compost Tumbler that I use for mixing various mediums. Works great. A few turns of the tumbler and all ingredients are perfectly mixed. All I need to find is something to spread them with.

This sounds great, although I would expect you would have to pay several hundred for it.
