Want to say hi from So. Ok. where it's dry and dusty. Just waiting for that slow gentle rain. We have put our garden in this year in my dad's old garden spot. It's been setting dormant for many years. Weeds including cuckleburrs(sp?) are growing rampant. Any ideas?

A little less than an acre. We also have nutgrass.

roto-tilling can knock them back...but try to rake out the tendrils so they don't reseed themselves...my Dad always discarded these instead of composting, to avoid spreading...

Thank you, we have been tilling and pulling by hand. Guess we will just keep after it. It's a little overwhelming. I was hoping there would be something I could spread that would hold it back some. Something natural.
