Hi! So glad to find this forum - soooo informative! I've always had great success with container planting and have already put in my spring bulbs and petunias - all thriving. This year I wanted a veggie garden, so my hubby is helping me get that started. He's also helping me build a compost tumbler to help toward our goal to go completely organic. All this is toward our ultimate goal to purchase property in East Texas where we can live and grow a much larger crop (we're so ready to get out of the city).

Last night a freeze was expected and I covered what could not be moved, along with the smaller pots going into the garage overnight (which did really well). Fortunately, it stayed above freezing in the mid-30's. That's our Texas weather for you!
