Hello to all and thanks to the powers that be for this site. I live in South Texas. Zone 9 heat- zone 8 cold. I love gardening and do most of my talking with My Creator in the garden. Busy with veggie gardening now. Going to try strawberries for the first time. I live in the country it at the north end of Lake Corpus Christi and love it. Have about 1 1/2 acres to cause trouble in. Strong advocate of organic gardening with an even stronger (read stubborn) husband as an advocate of doing things the way his daddy did them. But he is a wonderful man in spite of his reluctance to do things differently so I will keep trying to get him to embrace more things organic. He's about half and half now; just can't seem to get him to give up his 12/24/12. I however will try anything once if it sounds fun. I look forward to meeting everyone here and learning so much.
