In the spring I planted my first azalea bush. I dug out the clay and gave it a nice organic bed in the shade of some oak trees. The bush has stayed nice and green, it has even grown new leaves, but it has refused to flower. It is SUPPOSED to be one of those Encore types that flower twice a year (Autumn Amethyst) but we are now two flowering seasons behind... can anyone give me any tips to get this bush to flower?

What size container did the plant come in? Some perennials take a couple of seasons before they bloom. Is your soil you planted it in acidic? That is what azaleas prefer according to what I've read about them.
