 Post subject: North Texas/Dallas Black Clay

We're adding another small garden... 32'x8'.
First round of tilling shows me wonderful, hard black clay. Thank you north Texas.

Plan is to grow fruits/veggies.

What should I be adding? Sand? Peat? Landscape Mix?

Next time don't till. Just apply mounds of mulch over top. That's all you need. The soil microbes will take care of the rest when you fertilize.
