Since there are soooooo many organic businesses on the Dirt Doctor website and it was taking soooooo long for me to figure out who or what is in my neighborhood, I took up the task of sorting through the Organic Businesses list on the Dirt Doctor website.

Of 2700 businesses, around 400 are in the DFW/greater DFW area. I did some sort routines and then exported them into a .kml file to build a Google Map of local organic businesses. Here's the link:

There are so many businesses on the map that you have to scroll down on the list to the left of the Google screen in order to see the second page (of about 200 more) which will show the next group of businesses.

Google maps does allow for collaborative input, so if you find any businesses that were left off (and I'm sure that there were some) or any businesses that should be taken off, just reply to this post and I'll see what I can do about updating it or passing editing permissions to anyone who wants it.

Interesting, look a bit north and east of your map area, and one does not see any dot to indicate an organic products business in the town of Bonham. Hmmm, I wonder why.
