I have Nutsedge taking over my back yard I have. Bermuda Tif 419. Nothing seems to kill this stuff the more I try the more it speads. To much to pull up

There does seem to be some indication that salt will control nutgrass. Hopefully several people will try table salt, sea salt, baking soda and potassium bicarbonate on nutgrass infested bermudagrass. Use each in different areas at 1 ounce per gallon of water. Too much salt will obviously foul up the soil so go easy on this idea. Potassium bicarb might be the best choice. This idea will work best in bermudagrass because it is so salt tolerant. Use even more care if you try this idea in beds. Give us some reports.
