I live in a 50 yr old home with some original landscaping. The guava shrub in front (partial west sun) had two blooms 4 yrs ago and hasn't bloomed since then. I cut it back severely one year, but no blooms. I adore the beautiful flowers--any way I can coax it into giving up some blooms?
