Problem is finding someone who has "stuff" to mix them.
I contact Randy Mosley at www.enviromateinc.com He sells humate in bags or 1 ton bags. He then delivers
product to your local feed store. Since I buy this from
store, they loan me their spreader, and I put it out with
tractor or truck.
I find dry molasses is pain to put out. The least bit of
moistureand it doesn't go out. That is why I like liquid
molasses a lot better. Before I bought my own spray
rig. I rented spray rig from local feed store.
Both molasses and humates are important.

THANKS FOR COMMENTS SO FAR. WE USED LIQUID MOLASSES AND LIQUID HUMATE LAST YEAR. WAS HOPING DRY PRODUCTS WOULD BE
EASIER, BUT MAYBE NOT. WE PROBABLY NEED TO GET SIDE EXTENSIONS FOR SPRAYER SO IT'LL COVER A LARGER AREA.
WE GET THE MOLASSES FROM OUR FEED STORE AND THE HUMATE FROM
RABBIT HILL FARMS OUT OF CORSICANA. BUT THE HUMATE IS IN ONE
GALLON JUGS. CAN YOU GET IT IN LARGER QUANTITY? HOPEFULLY AT
A CHEAPER PRICE.
The Feed Store in Hubbard is trying to become a retailer for Enviromate (humate). And we can use his spreader if we go with dry products. But
I know liquid molasses is cheaper than dry. So we'll look into a new nozzle for the sprayer and go from there.
Last year we fertilized 200 acres. I'm thinking about 50 this time.
This was my first time to use the DirtDoc's message board. It sure beats
trial and error!!

Check our prices.... I dont know what you are paying now but we usually have the lowest prices on Liquid Organic Products. and we have them in Larger containers than 1 gal.
We agree with the broadcast or fan sprayer that does 40 feet at a pass. We applicate an average 120 acres per day that way. We have programs for hay and grazing pastures as well as anything else that you would want to grow.

I get molasses for about $1.10 per gallon (if I bring my own container) from the co-op in New Braunfels. Shop around.
Compost tea is another alternative for you. You can make your own for about $0.035 per gallon assuming you use premium compost. I have plans for a small compost tea maker on my website. You can scale the plans up for your size tea maker. Rubbermaid makes lots of sizes of plastic bins up to 55 gallons.
I believe Ross Farms (Austin area) will spray compost tea, too. They make 100 gallons of tea every day of the year for their own use, so they're pretty experienced at it.

Enviromate is the company and humate is the
product. The company is built on humates. Randy
started out in the oil fields as a engineer, In the
80's it was obvious that the oil patch was drying
up for jobs. He discovered that hmates would
neutralize chemicals in the oil fields. He then
worked with EPA on toxic waste sights and toxic
spills and the humates were wonderful. At some
point the began feeding it to animals and it
reduced inflamation in dairy cows and feed
lot cows. Some of the farmers thought if it
helped the animals so they started taking it
themselves and they had health issues that got
better. From that Terratol was made - humates
in a capsule for humans.
I have used Terratol to detoxify my body to loose
weight "Dr. Bob's Weight Loss Program" You can't
loose weight if you do not detoxify as you change
your life style.
I also use liquid humic acid in the mix for restoring
hay meadows with organic fertilizer - humic acid,
seawater, and molasses (this year we are going to
add compost tea). The humic acid contains fulvic
acid which is the "good stuff" that neautrilizes the
chemicals that have been put on the fields. It is also
adding some trace minerals.
National Institute of Health has aslo published
info that humates destroy virus in colds and flus.
In Africa they have been using Terratol to "cure"
AIDS patients. They have been able to put AIDs
in remission. They have had patients too sick to
get out of their beds and after a few weeks on
Terratol they have been able to get out of bed
and go back to work.
