I am planting ten acres of a seed blend by Purina for food plots for whitetail deer. I would like to plant it using organic methods. I am unsure of how to do it and I am having a difficult time finding information about organic planting on this scale. I would appreciate any information that I could get. I am in the Byan College Station area.

Seems most people are trying to get rid of deer? I'll try to think backwards. Organic livestock management is as simple as not using herbicide, insecticide, fertilizer, and medicines.
Are these captive deer under your management or are you just hoping the wild ones will come to your land?

If you are planting in the fall..... I would recommend that you use Nitrogen fixing micro organisims and / or compost tea, before a rain. Wait two weeks after the rain and plant your seeds. If you have any more questions you can contact me.
Good Luck,
Brad
