I have a 10000 sq. ft. pond with 10000 sq. ft. of Pond Scum on it. I have 50#s of agricultural corn meal ready to treat it but I was wondering if the oxygen would deplete too quickly and kill the catfish and bream in the pond.
Should I treat with 25#s first and then 25# more in three or four days or what would you all recommend.
I don't mind taking my time with it if it will save the fish.
Yes I would take my time and probally split it in 3 applications. Do you have a source to move the water around for distrobution? You might check out HYDROGEN PEROXIDE environmental application s in your pond too but insure they will not affect fish.
