I have some slow moving pantry items that are being replaced. One is corn syrup and I thought about using it as an additive in some sprays like a substitute for liquid molasses. The other is canola oil/corn oil mixture. Not sure what can be done with this but if there are any suggestions about these product uses, please advise. Thanks

The corn syrup can definatly be used in place of molasses. Any sugar like that will be beneficial to the microbes. It is a much better use of it in the ground considerig that unless it is USDA certified organic it is probably a GMO ( genetically modified organism) but thats a whole different topic!
The oil can be used just like horticultural oil, but test it first so you don't burn anything. 1-2 tablespoons per gallon wuold be a good starting point.
